This policy outlines Aquawell's commitment to consistently delivering high-quality and safe drinking water to our valued customers.

Scope
This policy encompasses Aquawell's management and operation of our drinking water supply systems, including catchments, storage facilities, treatment plants, and water network assets, for our premium product, Aquawell.

Policy Statement
Aquawell is dedicated to efficiently managing our water supply and ensuring the provision of high-quality and safe drinking water to all our customers.

In accordance with our operational license, Aquawell will maintain and fully implement a drinking water quality management system that aligns with the standards set by KEBS (Kenya Bureau of Standards) for the management of drinking water quality.

Application of Policy
In collaboration with our stakeholders, Aquawell will:

• Manage water quality from catchments to customers' service points, employing a risk-based approach that identifies and mitigates potential threats to water quality, thus minimizing risks to drinking water quality.
• Conduct appropriate and timely monitoring and implement corrective actions at Critical Control Points to guarantee the continuous delivery of safe drinking water to our customers.
• Regularly monitor water quality to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and meet customer expectations.
• Address customers' concerns promptly and efficiently.
• Establish effective incident and emergency response plans.
• Engage in relevant research and development activities to enhance our understanding of drinking water quality issues and performance.
• Provide adequate training to employees and contractors involved in the supply of drinking water, ensuring their understanding of their responsibilities in protecting water quality.
• Align our water quality systems and processes with proactive and multi-barrier approaches, adhering to best practices in water quality management.
• Continuously review and improve our practices for managing drinking water quality.
• All Aquawell management, employees, and contractors involved in the supply of drinking water are accountable for comprehending, implementing, maintaining, and continuously enhancing the drinking water quality management system.
